Job Description: Similar to a security software developer, software engineers develop and design software applications. Software engineers think similar to an engineer but focus primarily on creating software and not physical products. The most common software, software engineers create are video games or apps.
Requirements: Most companies and managers require a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or something similar. If a college degree is not attainable, at least ten years of experience in the cybersecurity field is required for this career.
