Our Story

DreamCareers first began in 2012 due to the employment shortage in the U.S. and around the globe. A small company that was just an idea amongst four became a reality and a success. We hoped to become a great job outlook for those in need of employment and a helping hand towards jumpstarting careers ahead of time. February 10th, 2013, became our most important date, leading to the introduction to our career fairs that would eventually turn into an annual event for our company.

While the use and implementation of technology spread amongst the world, we began to shift our gears towards focusing on technology-related jobs. The spread of technology has only just started and will continue to grow infinitely. With the rise in technological careers, there is an increase and pertaining stigma of males dominating the career field that also stays. In order to create a solution to this issue we have decided to showcase technological careers directed towards women. As a company we have taken the initiative of updating and changing the career fair themes annually to give women a variety of technological careers to choose from. Throughout the 8+ years, we've held career fairs, we have successfully helped thousands discover their dream career.

Our career fairs have been a huge help to many, but we also host many workshops and learning opportunities for developing skills or experience. Each event is related to the annual career fair’s theme or focus to help women jumpstart their careers if interested. In the future we would love to expand the resources and opportunities we provide to women, but for now we highly suggest taking as many opportunities as you can. After all most careers we showcase require experience and participating in our events can be a small step towards achieving that experience and knowledge!
